BankFive has earmarked $30,000 for the facilities renovation and expansion campaign at Dartmouth’s Lloyd Center for the Environment, according to a news release.

The Lloyd Center has been providing highly regarded research-based environmental education programs for students and residents of Dartmouth, Westport and beyond for more than 30 years. Its first capital campaign, “Transforming A Legacy,” seeks to raise $3 million for upgrading buildings and grounds and for program support and endowment. Projects being pursued include a new welcome center, expansion of the exploration center, and a new teaching pavilion.

“The Lloyd Center for the Environment truly is a legacy in our community, and we at BankFive are glad to lend our financial support to keep this legacy alive and growing,” said BankFive President and CEO William R. Eccles. “We wish the Lloyd Center the best in meeting and hopefully exceeding its campaign goal.”
