The Center is proud to offer paddling excursions.
All boating trips are easily enjoyed by the novice or experienced canoeists.
All trips include equipment rental and instruction.
Attention all canoe, kayak, & paddleboard enthusiasts!
Summer Bonus for Lloyd Center Members!
Bring your kayak, canoe, or paddleboard to the “Members Only” on-site vessel storage racks on Osprey Point at the Lloyd Center, for easy paddling access to the Slocum and Little Rivers, as well as Buzzards Bay. The Center has two rehabilitated racks with 12 available slots for the summer at discounted, tax-deductible rates.
With your Lloyd Center membership of $30 for individuals, or $50 for families, keep your vessel on the rack for $100/month, or $200/summer (June through September 30). As there is no storage currently for paddles or life preservers, you would be required to bring them with you.
Two parking lots are available near the Welcome Center building at the Center. There is a gentle downhill trail – the Osprey Point Trail – behind the Bond Building to carry your vessel to the racks.
Or, if you launch off of Potomska Rd. on the causeway at Little River, and paddle south at high tide to the Slocum River, the racks are on the first marsh point upriver to the west of the Center’s dock and pier.
