Facilities
The second $1.5 Million of the Transforming A Legacy Capital Campaign will enable the Lloyd Center to embark on a new level of institutional development which will bring the environmental quality of the Center’s facilities into balance with the excellence of the environmental education programs and research.
The current Lloyd Center structures are inadequate to support its core functions. For example, one unisex bathroom serves up to 80 students at any given time; there is not space for buses to unload students properly; parking is limited; too much of the property is not accessible to visitors with disabilities; and the converted buildings are not sufficient for the teaching, research and administrative demands of a growing and vibrant education and research center.
