Although outright gifts and pledges of cash and stock are vital in supporting the Transforming A Legacy Campaign, donors can also assist the Lloyd Center by making a planned gift which will support the facilities, program and endowment goals over the long term. Even though such gifts may not be received by the Center until after the donor’s lifetime, they are important in assuring the continued strength of the environmental education programs and in addressing the long-term health of the facilities and site. Immediate benefits to the donor might include tax savings, additional income and the satisfaction of knowing that charitable goals will be met.
