Lloyd Center Annual Meeting – Thursday, April 27
The Lloyd Center for the Environment’s Annual Meeting will take place on April 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., in the community room of the Dartmouth Public Library – North Branch, located at 211 Cross Road.
Lloyd Center Executive Director Rachel Stronach will present an overview of the Center for the past year.
Featured speaker, Hamza Malik, will present his work as the new Teaching & Research Fellow. Malik’s talk will focus on the student-centered Coastal Ecology program he designed and implemented last summer. The primary objective for this summer Coastal Ecology course was to design a heavily student-centered learning program where students decide what topic/subject they want to learn within the realm of Coastal Ecology while interacting with various experts from the field. Malik’s talk will also touch upon other Lloyd Center education programs and his unique role.
The public is invited to attend.
