Lloyd Center Educators At Work!

Our educators here at the Lloyd Center are busy, busy, busy! This time of year brings the students to us for adventures at the Center and to the very special barrier beach system. We focus on habitats and the adaptations of the plants and animals that live in those habitats.

Students hike to the estuary, the saltmarsh, the forest, and also get to visit the animals in the Bond Building classroom at the Lloyd Center. We switch it up a bit at the other site, teaching about the barrier beach, the dune system, estuary and saltmarsh. It’s such a fantastic way to get kids OUTDOORS! They teach rain or shine and always make sure our students, chaperones, and teachers have the best day!

Enjoy some pics of our incredible team! Not only do they teach, but you can often find them on the property doing lots of different projects, landscaping, and maintenance.
