Training at the Lloyd Center
This was the first week of training for the Next Level Rowing/Gutzy para-rowing quad. These women are training to become the first women’s adaptive rowing team to compete in the World Rowing Coastal Championships!
This brave crew is overcoming significant physical challenges and breaking new ground in the sport of rowing, proving that adaptive athletes can participate in the rough and wild conditions of coastal rowing. Not only are they the first para-rowing quad to enter the coastal world championships – they will also be competing against able-bodied teams.
Support comes from Next Level Rowing (coaching/training) along with sponsorship by Gutzy Organic.
Additional support from the Lloyd Center for the Environment and Dharma Voyage makes training in Dartmouth possible.
